HYPERTROPHY OF THE LOWER CORNEA OF THE NOSE: COMPARISON OF SURGICAL TECHNIQUES BY ASSESSMENT OF POSTOPERATIVE COMPLICATIONS

Background. Nasal congestion is one of the most commonly reported symptoms in clinical practice. The second common cause nasal hypertrophy lower concha, a pathology nose that often requires surgical treatment. purpose this study to determine effective method patients with inferior turbinate.
 Materials and methods. was conducted from November 2019 January 2023 at Pediatric Otolaryngology Department Emilian Cotaga Republican Children's Clinical Hospital Chisinau, Republic Moldova. population included 205 who underwent surgery were under observation hospital. Radiofrequency ablation used 73 patients, 68 treated microdebrider turbinoplasty, remaining 64 electrocautery. After surgery, postoperative complications assessed quantified.
 Results. A total operated on. first group (n=73) radiofrequency had complication rate 30.1%. Out 51 recovered without complications. 22 complications, including 16 bleeding 6 postnasal drip. (n=68) by method. 26.5%, 50 having no 18 symptoms.
